Travel & Stay

For those traveling from out of town, here are neighborhoods that we love and recommend.

Downtown Seattle

Downtown has a lot of great hotel options and is close to many restaurants and activities. It is also a centrally located location that makes it easy to get to and from the welcome party and venue.

If you're looking for something to do, we recommend walking along the Elliott Bay Trail on the waterfront all the way up to Centennial Park; or grabbing pastries at Freya before exploring Pike Place Market.

Ballard

Ballard is a neighborhood north of the city with many shops, restaurants, and bars. Conveniently, Ballard is also a short drive to both venues. This would be a good spot to get an Airbnb.

If you're looking for something to do, we recommend strolling around the Ballard locks, grabbing dinner or drinks on Ballard Ave. Walrus and the Carpenter and Sabine are our current go-to’s for date nights. Sabine also has a killer breakfast/brunch menu. We highly recommend grabbing a coffee and checking out the Sunday farmer’s market on the main drag.

Queen Anne

Although there aren’t many hotels in this area, it’s currently where we live! Queen Anne neighbors downtown and can be quieter than staying directly in the city.

If you're looking for something to do we recommend walking around Kerry Park. Did you know Queen Anne has over 121 public staircases that you can explore?

If you end up looking for a spot in Queen Anne, we would recommend booking an Airbnb.
